Animation Workshop Group

The ASIFA International workshop group started in 1971. Each year, children around the world, in 23 countries and on 4 continents create animations based on a common theme.  The Animation Workshop Group (AWG) is a group of artist-teachers who believe that animation can help children express their creativity and tell their own stories.
There are over 30 ASIFA children workshops throughout the world, where children are aided in making animated films. Instructors are animators from different countries, and some of the productions are collaboration between several nations. New generations are thus introduced to animation from the inside, whether they become animators themselves, or a selective audience. And they are introduced to international understanding in the process.

ASIFA Thailand is interested in starting running workshops. We need a venue, suggestions on target audience, sponsorship and more. If you are intersted in running a workshop, offering a venue, or particiapting get in touch with Millie Young <millimations(at)gmail.com>
